As the reservists of the 205th Armored Corps reconnaissance unit continue operating in intensive rotations, their spouses are left at home—many of them with children—without a real support system to help them cope with the complex routine. Out of this understanding, a special evening was held at the offices of Check Point, where spouses of reservists were hosted for a gathering of support, sharing, and a moment of respite within a complex reality..
At the event, the spouses participated together with therapists on behalf of the army, who facilitated discussion circles in rooms specially allocated for them at Check Point. We also arranged a pampering meal—part of it donated directly by Check Point, and part provided courtesy of Shahar Moshe, owner of the business Sushiart By Shahar, who prepared high-quality homemade sushi and donated it with love.
While the reservists of the Armored Corps Reconnaissance Battalion 205 continue operating in intensive rotations, their partners remain at home — many of them with children — often without a real support system to help them cope with the complexity of daily life. With this understanding, a special gathering was held at the offices of Check Point, where partners of reservists were invited for an evening of support, sharing, and a moment of relief within a challenging reality.
The event brought together reservists’ partners along with therapists from the military, who facilitated discussion circles in rooms specially allocated for them at Check Point. We also provided a generous meal — partly donated directly by Check Point, and partly generously prepared by Shahar Moshe, owner of Sushiart by Shahar, who crafted high-quality homemade sushi with great care and contribution.
