After hearing the association’s story and being enthusiastic about hiring them, Jeremy Kay from Check Point’s hospitality team in Tel Aviv invited us to come and use the amazing spaces they have, and of course we couldn’t refuse, and we invited our new team to be impressed .

At the first of 2 meetings that we hosted there, Natasha G-Firsht was present on behalf of the company, who arranged for us a perfect room near the entrance to the building – “a room that was built in advance for such powerful discussion circles” , said Amit Paikovsky, our psychologist who was particularly excited.

The meeting was opened by the chairman of the association – Lior Levy, and told about the importance of the activity and the strength that the fighters Ours give us back to continue and do, he shared about himself, and a little about his son who is fighting a nut by himself.

From there, according to the best tradition, Amit and the team were left alone and started from where they stopped the first time, when this time the point of view is forward, and on the power of Together.

On behalf of the association, there were present Eitan Feldman – head of operations, Naria Tzbari – social companion and member of the media team (who also made sure to document several magical moments that were allowed to be published), and Aharon Ifreimov who returned To us after a long time (joins the advocacy team of the association, after experiencing a successful series of meetings himself as a fighter in the Paz team several years ago under us, and decided to join the action in the storm).

After the dense conversation, we ended the evening in a workshop Cocktails for consolidation and enjoyment, at the end the team was released with great energy to go home and waiting for the next meeting.

Drowning in Ziv Shilon and enormous inspiration

In the third meeting we continued to climb high, literally, and we went to the roof of Check Point to enjoy the amazing view overlooking Tel Aviv.

As in all the meetings, we received a considerable donation of Lish – a sugar-free fruit strip snack, from the Groper company, which in past meetings donated natural carbonated drinks to us. As always, we thank the owner Liron, Paz, Gideon, and the lovely staff.

According to the standard, the hostess was waiting for us Yel Shaham – an employee of the place, and also a volunteer in our media team. Yael was joined by Eitan Feldman – Operations Manager, Dekal Tzur – CEO of the association, Aharon Ifreimov – Information and Collaborations Manager, Hodia Shasha – Community Relations Manager (and responsible for the great photos), Broria Arman Naim – a board member, and Ben Gurevich – a reservist and a new volunteer in the association.

When they finished the regular session with Amit Pajkowski for “cleaning elephants” (as Amit usually calls it), there were many smiles, and it was obvious that something had been completely released in the team members, and they are definitely leaving strengthened for a new path. At the same time, a tradition is a tradition, and we don’t like to end an arrangement without something extra special to take home as a memory, when this time – we had the privilege of bringing a one-of-a-kind guest.

So after a short break, we gathered together in the adjacent meeting room – the team members and all the members of the association, and sat down for an hour of empowerment, enrichment and insights from none other than the man and legend in his own right, Ziv Shilon.

Ziv told about the process he experienced with himself after the injury, when the physical aspect was completely minor compared to the mental struggle and the endless challenges that arose along the way. He described step by step how he overcame one obstacle after another, through sheer force of will and with the aim of proving – not only to himself, but to other war wounded as well – that nothing is impossible to achieve in this world. At this point, he passed on the compliments and insights to the people in the room, and shared with them the respect of warriors: He told about the perception that changed in him after hearing the stories of October 7, which began with wondering if we were as strong an army as we thought, and ended with countless moving stories of heroism that he heard that made him understand – We have a special people, and special warriors, with extraordinary stories from all wars.

The optimism that penetrated him as a result, made him say overwhelmingly: “The people who sit Here in the room, together with the entire 7.10 generation, you represent the victory in the war, the real victory, of the people! It will happen in the coming years. There is a generation here that will move the country forward, a generation that knows what it means to put aside conflicts and be there for each other, to sacrifice, to see the good in others, and to protect our country”, and maybe provided us with a spoiler (or maybe not) When he said – “As soon as this happens, if I am also called to join this effort, I may do another thing that I didn’t think I would do and maybe also run for politics.” I will do everything for this nation and these people,” and left everyone excited and believing in every word.

Finally, he answered more questions about his inspiring coping as a man who lost 2 of his hands (one was completely replaced, the other “paralyzed” and less functional than the prosthetic hand), continued to strengthen everyone and tell what a great privilege it was for him to come, and took a picture with everyone to conclude an unforgettable evening and an unforgettable series of meetings that will continue, and we can no longer wait.
