Article – Phased Program

One of the less-discussed consequences of reserve duty, especially since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, is the difficulty of reintegrating into civilian life. Young students who dedicate time and resources to active reserve service often find themselves at a disadvantage when it comes to entering the job market — particularly in junior roles, where even limited experience carries significant weight, and prolonged absence becomes a major barrier.

These same young individuals, who demonstrate commitment, responsibility, and a willingness to contribute to the country, often face a double challenge: they are students still building their resumes, while also being reservists who repeatedly pause their studies, internships, or professional training to fulfill their duty.

At this time, we are advancing a unique collaboration with the IDF Reserve Directorate, aimed at providing a practical response to this challenge. As part of the program, companies across Israel will be able to join a national initiative designed to help reservist students integrate into the workforce — with a focus on entry-level and junior positions.

The vision is twofold: on one hand, to ease the path for these young individuals by creating a real bridge between their service, studies, and employment. On the other hand, to enable companies to benefit from bringing in high-quality employees — individuals with strong values, dedication, and exceptional capabilities.

We invite companies with whom we have previously collaborated, as well as new organizations that recognize the importance of supporting reservists, to join us and explore how this program can be implemented together. Beyond the meaningful contribution to Israeli society, this is also an opportunity to create real, positive impact within your organization — for your employees and for the broader community.

This is not just a social initiative — it is an important step toward addressing a real gap. The way we, as a society, choose to treat reservist students will define our values for years to come.
