Tu Bishvat of Action: Elbit Joins Forces to Support Rashi Winery

In honor of Tu Bishvat, employees from <:contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}> took part this week in a special volunteer day at Rashi Winery — the winery of Eliyahu Shimoni, a reservist in the Givati Brigade and a valued partner, who has generously hosted events and reservist couples with us throughout this period.

Eliyahu is one of those individuals who never hesitates when called to duty. He leaves behind an active business and a winery that requires ongoing care, serves in the reserves — and only afterward returns to rebuild, restore, and bring operations back to routine. It is precisely in this moment that Elbit’s employees chose to step in and support.

The project they undertook was to transform one of the winery’s rooms into a warm and inviting internal bar — a space where people can gather, raise a glass, and create meaningful connections. The teams arrived in two phases, each time from a different branch of the company, and built nearly everything from scratch — from planning, through carpentry and assembly, to the final design touches.

The result is not only a physical upgrade of the space, but a meaningful reinforcement for a partner who continues to give, even when he himself is called to give everything.

This is the true spirit of Tu Bishvat: to plant, to build, to grow.

Special thanks to the Haifa and Yokneam branches of <:contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}> for sending volunteers twice for this project, for their dedication, hard work, and generous spirit.

We invite additional companies and organizations to take part in activities like this — combining meaningful impact with hands-on engagement, and along the way, enjoying a fine glass of wine at Rashi Winery.
