A special evening was held for soldiers, female soldiers, and their partners, focusing on one of the most significant challenges after military service – returning to the workforce and building a professional path forward.
We opened the evening with Dekel Tzur, the CEO of the organization, who briefly presented the organization’s activities and the various forms of support we offer, with the goal of introducing participants to the opportunities available to them – both on a personal and professional level.
We then moved on to the main workshop, led by Hadas Birenboim Levy, CEO of the headhunting company HUNTHEAD. Hadas brought with her extensive experience from the recruitment world and provided participants with an honest, behind-the-scenes look at how recruiters evaluate LinkedIn profiles.
During the workshop, participants learned how to build a profile that tells their story accurately and compellingly, how to present themselves in a way that highlights their strengths, and how to use LinkedIn as an active tool for creating opportunities – not just as a static business card. Hadas shared small tips that make a big difference, key points that can change first impressions, and explained what truly catches the attention of recruiters.
The evening also included simulations and practical exercises, where participants could ask questions, gain hands-on experience, and receive real-time guidance. The atmosphere was open and approachable, allowing for genuine conversations about concerns, dilemmas, and challenges that accompany entering or returning to the workforce.
One of the most meaningful outcomes of the session was Hadas’s commitment to continue supporting participants even after the workshop – by personally reviewing their LinkedIn profiles and providing individualized feedback, helping each person refine their presentation and take another step forward.
